Michael Schaake - Kase Brand Ambassador

My name is Michael Schaake, and I’ve been passionate about photography since my youth. Over time, my focus has centered on landscape, nature, and wildlife photography. I feel especially connected to the far north of Scandinavia and southern Africa, where part of my family resides.

Many of my images are captured during my frequent hikes, often created in the moment. As I’m constantly on the move, capturing the ever-changing light and atmosphere is a race against time—sometimes just a few seconds make all the difference.

In recent years, I’ve been sharing my expertise through photo workshops and trips, which I organize with a colleague.

Since 2018, I’ve had the honor of being a Sony Europe Imaging Ambassador.
