Peter Jesche – Professional photographer in Germany

Photography has fascinated me since the days of analog cameras. With the rise of digital photography, endless new possibilities have emerged, but one thing remains true: a photograph is created in the mind of the photographer and seen through their eyes—no camera, no matter how advanced, can do that for you.

For me, photography is about capturing moments that will never come again. While countless images exist of the world's most breathtaking places, every photograph tells its own story. And it’s precisely these stories, these one-of-a-kind moments, that I want to share with others. My focus lies in nature and architectural photography.

In nature photography, I am particularly drawn to the ever-changing moods of the morning and evening hours. Our planet is filled with fascinating beauty, and I strive to preserve a small part of that wonder through my images. In architectural photography, I seek out the details that often go unnoticed. I have a deep passion for long exposures, capturing light and shadow at any time of day, though I especially favor the golden and blue hours. Here, composition, perspective, and lighting play a crucial role.

Whether in nature or the city, both offer their own unique charm, advantages, and challenges. Living near Berlin provides endless opportunities to explore fresh perspectives and discover new photography spots.
