Mel Weber – Professional landscape photographer

Mel Weber, a Swiss photographer, lives on the border between the Bernese Oberland and Emmental—surrounded by some of the most breathtaking mountain landscapes.

Since childhood, she has spent as much time outdoors as possible. Her early years were dedicated to hiking, climbing, and mountaineering, but over time, photography became her true passion. Gradually, she swapped crampons, ice axes, and climbing ropes for a camera, tripod, and photo backpack.

To this day, Mel is constantly on the move, always searching for wildlife and the perfect light. Traveling is another great passion, with wild and remote regions like Scandinavia, Canada, Alaska, and New Zealand holding a special place in her heart.

Over the years, she has specialized in landscape and wildlife photography. Since 2017, she has been working part-time as a freelance photographer, sharing her expertise through workshops and contributing guest articles and photos to industry publications. In landscape photography, she relies on high-performance medium-format cameras and Kase’s premium filter system to achieve outstanding results.
