Filter holders for different filter systems

The Kase K9 filter holder set for 100x100mm or 100x150mm rectangular filters was developed as a filter holder solution for conventional rectangular filters with a thickness of 2mm as well as for our K100 SLIM filters (1.1mm material thickness). The current 2022 version of the K9 filter holder uses combined filter rails that can hold both normal 2.0 mm rectangular filters and 1.1 mm slim rectangular filters. Please note: If you mount slim and normal rectangular filters at the same time, you must mount the slim filter first - in the first rail - counting from the lens end / filter holder. The K9 filter holder set is an excellent photographer's basic equipment and offers everything you need to get started with filter photography straight away. The K9 filter holder set from Kase impresses with: its large scope of delivery its ease of use and its excellent price-performance ratio Polarising filter As a special feature, the filter holder has a newly developed round 90mm polarising filter, which is attached to the base insert of the K9 filter holder via magnetism and no longer needs to be screwed into the adapter ring. This allows the polarising filter to be attached and removed quickly when in use. In addition, the polarising filter can be easily and continuously adjusted using a rotary wheel on the filter holder without having to turn the filter holder itself. Even when wearing gloves in cold weather, you can easily adapt your setup to the current conditions. The CPL filter integrated in the set has a nano-coating so that your polarising filter is protected from streaks and can be cleaned quickly and easily. The CPL, which is indispensable in photography, is included in the scope of delivery so that no additional purchase costs are necessary for you. The polarising filter can also be used independently of the actual filter holder. The magnetic polarising filter simply needs to be inserted into the basic adapter ring. As two of these basic adapter rings are included in the set, you can work with two lenses at the same time. Processing Unwanted light reflections are minimised by installing the filter directly on the lens. The polarising filter can be set to the desired position using a setting wheel on the filter holder, even if an ND or GND filter is used in the holder, for example. The Kase K9 filter holder system is precision CNC-milled from aluminium and anodised matt black to minimise light reflections. The filter holder is designed so that no stray light can penetrate from the side. The K9 filter holder also stands out due to its light weight and flat design and impresses with its stable, durable workmanship. A total of 4 adapter rings for standard lens sizes are included in the set. The two basic adapter rings are magnetic on the outside. Lenses with a lens diameter of either 77mm or 82mm fit on the inside of each basic adapter ring. The outer diameter of the basic adapter ring is 90mm. If your lens has a smaller filter diameter, additional screw-in step-up adapter rings may be required. Two of these adapter rings, with a size of 67-82mm and 72-82mm, are already included in the scope of delivery. Filter inserts Two filter rails are fitted at the factory and a third can be retrofitted if required. The third filter rail is included in the scope of delivery Up to 3 filter racks offer excellent options for combining the filters with each other. Our filter holder is compatible with most 100mmx100mm or 100mmx150mm filters from other manufacturers with a glass thickness of 1.1mm and 2.0mm. You can therefore also use our Kase rectangular filters in parallel with plate filters from other brands in our K9 filter holder. Notes: No magnetic round filter can be mounted in the filter holder of the basic adapter ring in 95mm diameter. There is no surface here to install a magnetism.

The cap is used for protection and is mounted on an ARMOUR round filter (ND or polarising filter) mounted in the ARMOUR holder. This adapter ring has been specifically designed to allow the Olympus 7-14mm F2.8 lens to be used with our ARMOR filter holder and associated 100mm rectangular filters. It saves you having to switch to the 150mm filter system and fits perfectly into the 100mm filter holder system. The adapter ring is attached directly to the Olympus 7-14mm lens and then inserted into the ARMOR filter holder. Note: The magnetic 90mm polarizing filter of the ARMOR filter holder cannot be used with this adapter. Instead, you can mount a 100mm polarizing filter directly in the K9 filter holder. Vignetting: The ARMOR filter holder with 2 mounted filter inserts can be used at 7 mm without vignetting if the holder is horizontal or slightly tilted. The ARMOR filter holder of the 150mm series was developed in order to be able to benefit from the advantages of the ARMOR series in the 150mm filter segment. The ARMOR 150mm filter holder can carry either two magnetic round ND filters from the K150P series or one ND and one polarizing filter. In addition, the filter holder has the option of holding up to two rectangular filters from the 150mm series (in the magnetic ARMOR 150mm frame). The ARMOR K150P filter holder is anodized in matt black to avoid light reflections. In order to be able to mount rectangular filters, you need a magnetic ARMOR filter frame for each rectangular filter. The ND32000 filter of the ARMOUR series can be used in the ARMOUR filter holder of the 100mm series. What is an ND32000 ND filter used for? An ND32000 filter is an extremely strong neutral density filter (grey filter) that reduces the light entering the camera by a factor of around 32,000. This corresponds to around 15 f-stops less light! Typical areas of application: Long exposures during the day: Flowing waters are transformed into silky, smooth surfaces. Cloud movements create dramatic effects and fascinating structures. Making people and vehicles disappear:The long exposure makes moving objects practically invisible. Ideal if you want to photograph a deserted square but don't feel like politely asking every single passer-by to leave the picture ? Creative experiments: Create light trails even in daylight. Artistic effects, such as abstract motifs or minimalist landscapes. Example: Do you want to take a 2-minute long exposure at 12:00 noon? Impossible without a filter - no problem with ND32000. What you should bear in mind: Tripod and remote shutter release are an absolute must for such exposures! You will hardly be able to see anything through the viewfinder due to the strong filter. So focus beforehand or use the live view mode. In short:An ND32000 is your best friend if you like to freeze the world for minutes at a time - and definitely a bad companion if you're in a hurry. ?
