Biography
Jason is a Welsh Fine Art Landscape Photographer, and from 2007 when he first went traveling abroad for the first time, and people said he had an eye for taking a good photograph for his next trip he decided to buy a decent camera and capture the splendor and beauty of mother nature.
The year of 2009 took Jason back out traveling again across lands such as Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia and Malaysia and those few months were a starting point to where he found his passion for photography.
He returned back to the UK and took a course in advanced photography and passed with flying colors and with this knowledge He did a few trips around the welsh coast a few years had passed and He'd taken a few photos that were portfolio worthy from Snowdonia and west Wales and trying to honor it on his craft.
He likes to give his work an ethereal dream like look and have always been inspired by art and what got him going from an early age were the works of Albert Bierstadt and also fantasy stuff like LOTR.
A friend and him set off to Iceland in 2016 to photograph the northern lights and it was in autumn there so the colors were very vibrant and the landscapes seeing them for a first time were just a photographers dream so he was in his element.
After a successful trip to Iceland he then took a trip to NZ in 2017 and did the whole of the southern island photographing the night sky and what an epic trip that was.
So being a seasoned traveler he is used to meeting new people and if people are new at photography or can't get a shot in certain places like a Milkyway. He is more than willing to give them a helping hand and teach them a thing or two because it's all about the thrill of the photo in the end of the day and walking away with something to show people when you get home because it tells a story and you also have a story with it to.
He's had a few published images in some online magazines and had two exhibitions in Wales one in a Gallery in Monmouth and the other in the Senedd the National Government building for Wales.
