Biography
Rafn Sigurbjörnsson is an experienced Icelandic landscape and nature documentary photo,- and videographer living just a few kilometers outside the Capital of Reykjavík. His fascination of the Icelandic nature and geologic diversity is endless. He has focused on documenting the raw nature since he was a young boy and has been hiking in the Icelandic highlands and low lands all his life so he knows the nature and the hidden spots like a true native.
Rafn is a self-educated photographer and has worked as a freelance photographer for more than thirty years. He has developed his own unique style through photographing the wide variety of the colorful Icelandic nature. He’s got his photos published all over the world, in magazines, books, postcards as on the internet.
Rafn has published 8 photographic books about Iceland, called “WILD ICELAND the untouched nature”
Each book focuses on the collection of the best of the sensational nature of the individual parts of Iceland; these eight books contain photographs of the south, southwest, west, westfjords, north, east, highlands and Reykjavik the capital of Iceland.
2018 Rafn Published his 9th book called “Discover Wild Iceland” where he shows the colorful raw nature at its best on 100 pages
Rafn lives his passion of by traveling, and exploring the nature of Iceland as well as other countries.
