The Kase K9 filter holder support set for 100x100mm or 100x150mm rectangular filters was developed as a filter holder solution for traditional 2mm thick rectangular filters and for our K100 SLIM filters (1.1mm material thickness).
The current 2022 version of the K9 filter holder uses combined filter guides that can hold both normal 2.0mm rectangular filters and slim 1.1mm rectangular filters.
Please note: if you mount slim and normal filters simultaneously, you need to mount the slim filter first - in the first guide - counting from the lens/filter holder end.
The K9 filter holder support set is a great basic equipment for a photographer and provides everything you need to start directly with filter photography.

Polarizing filter
As a special feature, the filter holder has a new 90mm polarizing filter that is magnetically attached to the bottom of the K9 filter holder and no longer screwed onto the adapter ring. This allows you to quickly apply or remove the polarizing filter when needed.
In addition, the polarizing filter can be easily continuously adjusted via a button on the filter holder, without the need to rotate the filter holder. Even with gloves in cold weather, it is easy to adjust the setting to the current conditions.
The CPL filter included in the set has a nano coating to prevent smudges and facilitate cleaning.
The essential polarizing filter in photography is included in the package, so no additional expenses are necessary for you.
The polarizing filter can also be used independently of the main filter holder.
In this case, the magnetic polarizing filter simply needs to be inserted into the base adapter ring.
Since two of these base adapter rings are included in the package, it is possible to work simultaneously with two lenses.
Finish
The Kase K9 filter holder is made of precision CNC machined aluminum and anodized matte black to reduce reflections. The filter holder is designed so that no diffuse lateral light enters. In addition, the K9 filter holder stands out for its lightness, compact design, and robust and durable machining.
4 adapter rings for common lens sizes are included in the package.
The two base adapter rings are magnetic on the outer side.
Inside, each base adapter ring is compatible with lenses with a filter diameter of 77mm or 82mm.
The outer diameter of the base adapter ring is 90mm.
If your lens has a smaller filter diameter, additional Step Up adapter rings may be required for installation.
Two of these Step Up adapter rings are already included in the package, with sizes 67-82mm and 72-82mm.
Filter inserts
Two filter inserts come factory-installed, and a third can be added as needed. The third filter track is included in the package.
With up to 3 filter inserts, you have excellent possibilities to combine the filters with each other.
Our filter holder is compatible with most 100mmx100mm or 100mmx150mm filters from other manufacturers with glass thickness of 1.1mm or 2.0mm. Therefore, you can use our Kase rectangular filters in parallel with other brand blade filters in our K9 filter holder.

Attention: the magnetic lens cap is not compatible with the 95mm variant of the base adapter ring.
Hint
In the 95mm base adapter ring, it is not possible to mount a magnetic circular filter on the filter holder. There is not enough space to insert a magnet.
