Biography
Mads Peter Iversen is a Danish fine art landscape photographer and YouTuber. He has been photographing since 2012 and been doing videos since 2003, which benefits him on his YouTube channel. His videos are focused around the different locations he visits around the world, where he shares his knowledge in an inspirational way. His videos are as epic as his photographs and it is obvious he draws inspiration from the postmodern era of epic blockbuster fantasy movies such as Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Game of Thrones. Alongside the big epic vistas, Mads is also drawn to minimalism. "To me, it always varies, I can't just do one thing that would be boring".
Mads use all the tools the digital photographer has in his tool belt. Everything from Photoshop where he both composite and blend to different filters when he is in the field. “My favorite filter has for years been the 6-stop filter. In most lighting conditions, it is perfect for giving the right shutter speed for moving water. However, I also really love the 10-stop filter, which can give some long shutter speeds, which gives a very soft and ethereal look to the photos”.
