Biography
Since 1995 I have been taking photos as a "photo aunt". Incidentally, I owe this nickname to a customer whose wedding I was allowed to photograph.
Having grown up in Sauerland, I have been at home in Frankfurt am Main since 2000.
My switch from analogue to digital photography in 2006 awakened my enthusiasm for architectural photography. But after about 10 years, Mainhattan was no longer enough for me. I discovered my passion for landscape photography with my first trip to Lofoten in 2014. Even if I continue to give personal coaching in Frankfurt, I always have a few appointments planned for workshops at home and abroad each year. I advertise my workshops exclusively on my website: https://www.fototante.de/workshops
I was once described as "travelling" and I can't even disagree. Always on the hunt for the best light, in connection with great motifs, I travel around the world. Such road trips - combined with my sometimes crazy experiences - are the perfect balance to my job in the bank.I love the quiet moments at sunrise, often combined with wonderful lighting moods, in which you can just perfectly slow down.
Since 2009 I have had a second job as a photo aunt.
In 2010 I made my first steps with filters and was immediately infected. A recording technique that just never gets boring.
Something that takes a long time…
It's great that I can work with Kase's first-class filters today!
I only offer my photographic work on my website for licensing or as a high-quality print.
