Biography Robert Freytag

Robert Freytag is an experienced landscape photographer who has made a name for himself as one of the leading providers in Germany with over 200 workshops and coaching sessions. With his keen sense of harmonious image composition, he succeeds in capturing quiet moments at picturesque lakes and untouched landscapes, expressing his passion for nature in an artistic way. He impressively demonstrates that extraordinary landscape shots can not only be taken at famous photo spots but also right outside your front door – if you approach the world with a keen eye.

Thanks to his many years of experience in landscape photography, Robert has in-depth knowledge of the compositional principles of this genre. In his workshops and coaching, he places particular emphasis on image composition, the targeted use of ND filters and gray filters, as well as innovative techniques like Focus Stacking and Exposure Blending. Additionally, he incorporates his extensive expertise in image editing to create impressive and atmospheric shots. Robert’s coaching approach is designed to make complex techniques understandable and accessible, so that participants can translate their creative vision into outstanding landscape photography.

Before dedicating himself fully to landscape photography, Robert worked as a personal consultant at a Munich-based consulting firm. This experience allows him today to bring his strong communication skills and empathy into his workshops, addressing the individual needs of participants and taking their photographic abilities to the next level.
