Guide for easier choice between types of powerbanks we offer

Compact power banks for smartphones and everyday gear

Lightweight, easy to carry and perfect for topping up your phone or small accessories throughout the day. These power banks are usually offering up to 10000 mAh.

High-capacity power banks for cameras and drones (from 20000 mAh)

These models offer generous capacity, fast-charging options and enough output to power mirrorless cameras, action cams, tablets and sometimes even drone batteries (depending on USB-C PD support and adapters).

Power banks for winter and night photography

Some models in our range maintain stable performance in cold environments, making them ideal for snow shoots, astrophotography or early-morning landscapes. Product descriptions clearly indicate temperature performance.

FAQ about power banks for cameras and other photography equipment

What capacity do I need in a power bank for photography?

For cameras and drones, aim for 10,000–20,000 mAh if you only need occasional top-ups, or 20,000–30,000+ mAh for long days or multi-device setups. If you plan to power your camera during long exposures or time-lapses, choose a high-capacity model with USB-C PD (Power Delivery) for consistent output.

Can I charge any camera with a power bank?

Most modern mirrorless and DSLR cameras with USB-C or micro USB charging work directly with a power bank. Always check your camera model’s requirements; some cameras need 9V or 12V input, which only certain power banks can deliver. If you need help choosing a power bank for your camera, contact our team, and we will be happy to assist.

Can I use a powerbank to run my camera continuously for time-lapses or long exposures?

Yes. A high-quality USB-C power bank is one of the most stable ways to keep a camera running for hours. For all-night astro sessions or interval shooting, look for:

  • High-capacity (20,000+ mAh)
  • USB-C with 18–30W output
  • Possibility to plug in a dummy battery

This setup prevents camera shutdowns and reduces battery swaps during critical shots.

Do power banks work in cold temperatures?

Yes, but not all of them work efficiently. Only certain power banks have improved thermal management. That is why, for winter or night photography, choose models that specify an operating range down to at least 0°C, ideally -10°C. Other power banks will still work, but capacity drops faster, and charging speed may slow down.

Can I charge drone batteries with a power bank?

Yes. Charging drone batteries directly is possible with power banks that support USB-C with high wattage (often 45W–65W) and when the drone battery or charging hub accepts USB-C input. Always check the drone manufacturer’s recommendations, as not all drone batteries may support third-party charging.

Is fast charging (USB-C) important for photographers?

Yes. USB-C not only charges devices faster but also allows certain cameras and accessories to draw stable, continuous power, which is essential for video work, long exposures or powering external monitors.
