What is the Filter Thread Size of Nikkor Z 400mm F2.8 from Nikkon?
The Nikkor Z 400mm F2.8 TC VR S from Nikon does not have a traditional front filter thread due to its large diameter and curved front element. However, Nikon has designed this lens with a rear filter slot that accepts drop-in filters. The 156mm Adapter installs on the lens front allowing for the 156mm Round UV filter to be used.

It saves you having to switch to the 150mm filter system and fits perfectly into the 100mm filter holder system.
