Florian Warnecke - Kase Brand Ambassador
Born in Nuremberg in 1979, Florian Warnecke is a trained carpenter and holds a degree in geography. He lives and works in his family's hometown of Murnau am Staffelsee, where he is the fourth generation to manage the family-owned grocery store. Since 2011, photography has become a second passion alongside his family business.
Florian takes immense pride in following in the footsteps of his great-grandfather with his photography. Yet, his images are primarily dedicated to his father, who was the first to recognize their potential and encouraged him to share them with the public.
As a wildlife and landscape photographer, Florian’s work appears in magazines and calendars and has earned accolades in several international competitions. While he enjoys photographing the native animals and landscapes around Murnauer Moos, his passion extends to northern nature. Through his photo tours and workshops (Iceland, France, Slovenia, Austria, etc.), he strives to share his love for both nature and photography with others.
Photography has deeply enriched Florian’s life in ways that are hard to describe. As a child, he was captivated by wildlife documentaries, and now, as a photographer, he has the privilege of observing and capturing these animals in their natural habitats. From great white sharks in South Africa to muskoxen and arctic foxes in Norway, bears and wolverines in Finland, pelicans in Greece, and golden eagles in Bulgaria, his lens has captured many incredible creatures.
He also considers it a great privilege to work alongside mentors and role models like Tom Svensson and Hans Strand. Through these adventures, he continues to deepen his experience and express his profound love for the animal world. One of his greatest goals is to return home in a balanced and grateful way, sharing the beauty of nature with others to raise awareness and inspire appreciation for the natural world.
