Jan Keski - Kase Brand Ambassador
My name is Jan Keski, and I’m an avid amateur photographer from the Upper Palatinate.
Born in Amberg in 1974, I originally trained as a carpenter. My passion for photography began in childhood, inspired by my father’s home photo lab and the world of analog photography. Over time, this initial interest grew into a deep passion that I now dedicate almost all my free moments to.
Nature is at the heart of my work and is what led me to specialise in landscape photography. I find great peace being alone with my camera, capturing the interplay of light at sunrise and sunset, and witnessing the harmonious interaction of natural elements. For me, photography is about pausing time and sharing the unique mood and emotions of a singular moment with those who view my images.
Landscape photography often requires managing contrasts, which is why filters play a crucial role in my process. For years, I’ve relied on Kase filters to help me achieve the perfect shot, and they’ve become an essential part of my creative practice.
