Sven Herdt - Kase Brand Ambassador
My name is Sven Herdt, and I was born in the picturesque foothills of the Alps in Bavaria. As a child, I spent countless hours in the forest, exploring and playing amidst the beauty of nature.
After completing my photography training in 2005, I set out to discover the wider world beyond Bavaria. Always with my camera in hand, I traveled through Central America, India, South America, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Africa, collecting unforgettable experiences and expanding my knowledge of both photography and the diverse cultures of our planet. I even spent several months working as an underwater photographer in Thailand and sharing my adventures through lectures. Yet, I always return to my roots in Bavaria, where I still find inspiration in the landscapes of my homeland.
Today, I continue to recharge my creative energy outdoors, always in search of new beauty—because I believe you don’t always need to travel far to discover something fresh. With this philosophy in mind, I’ve made Bavaria my permanent home again.
While my primary focus is landscape photography, I also capture the essence of animals and macro subjects, striving to cover the full spectrum of nature photography and showcase the diverse beauty of our planet.
Since 2013, I’ve been sharing my passion and expertise through photography workshops, which take me to destinations across the globe. I have a special fondness for the northern countries—like Iceland, Finland, and Norway—but I also enjoy photographing the Canary Islands, Italy, Costa Rica, and, of course, the stunning Alps.
