Our magnetic ND64 with a diameter of 90mm fits ideally into the K9 filter holder. It can be installed instead of the magnetic 90mm polarizing filter, which is included in the K9 filter holder. So you can use additional plate filters directly in the filter slots and use the space of the magnetic CPL for another ND filter.

The neutral density filters allow you to use an open aperture in conditions of bright light without overexposing or use a slow shutter speed for capturing the sense of movement. Thus, ND filters are particularly useful for shooting waterfalls, sky, and other types of landscapes. Also, ND lens filters can be handy in street portrait photography.
What cameras can Kase ND filters be used for?
Neutral density filters from Kase can be used for Nikon, Sony, and Fuji of different models. The most important thing is to choose the filter compatible with your thread’s size. You can find the filter thread size on the front or side of your camera lens next to the symbol Ø.
Which strength of neutral density filters to choose for a camera?
The choice of ND filter strength depends on several factors, including the lighting conditions, the effect you want to achieve, and your specific creative goals. At Kase, we offer neutral density filters in various strengths, often denoted by different ND numbers (e.g., ND2, ND4, ND8, ND16, etc.). The higher the ND number, the stronger the light reduction.
It's a good idea to have a range of ND filters in your kit, allowing you to adapt to different scenarios. If you're uncertain, it's better to have a slightly stronger ND lens filter than you think you'll need, as you can always adjust your camera settings to achieve the desired exposure.
Is any additional equipment needed for shooting with ND filters?
When shooting with ND lens filters, especially with those that have more stops, it is highly recommended to use the tripod to prevent camera shake and get a sharp image. You may also consider using a remote shutter release or timer to trigger the camera without physically touching it, reducing the risk of the camera shaking during longer exposures. This is particularly important when capturing time-lapse sequences or bulb-mode photography.
Can I stack several ND filters?
