Oliver Hummell – Professional photographer in Germany

Hi! ? My name is Oliver Hummell, and I’m a landscape photographer and YouTuber from the beautiful Lower Rhine region.

Whenever I get the chance, I combine my two greatest passions: photography and travel. You’ll find me wandering through autumn-colored forests, standing before crystal-clear Canadian mountain lakes, capturing the power of Icelandic waterfalls, or exploring secluded slot canyons in the American Southwest. I’m especially drawn to wild, rugged, Nordic landscapes—they keep calling me back.

In these remote places, I seek silence and solitude, taking my time to create my images. Whether it’s capturing a breathtaking scene or setting up a time-lapse as the sun rises or sets, I immerse myself in the moment. Along the way, I document my adventures through travel and photography films for YouTube — my way of preserving and sharing personal experiences.

When it comes to filter photography, I’ve tested countless screw-on and large plug-in filters over the years, often finding them cumbersome and frustrating. That’s why I’m especially happy to have found a partner in Kase whose round magnetic filters make my life as a photographer so much easier!
