Stefano Gelli – Kase international partner

Stefano Gelli, a photographer from Livorno, Italy, began his journey in photography in 1986. Initially, he participated in photo contests, but his real ambition was to capture high-level sports events. In 1997, his dream became a reality when, with the support of the publication A Year of Rugby, he started a successful collaboration with the Milan-based agency Omega Fotocronache. His work soon appeared in major national magazines.

From 1996 to 1999, Stefano contributed to the triathlon magazine Triathlete, and in 2000, some of his images were featured in a nationally distributed calendar.

In recent years, Stefano has focused on spherical panoramic photography, using this technique to document key moments of the Concordia shipwreck for the German magazine Der Spiegel. Drawing on his extensive experience, he is now exploring the art of landscape photography.
