Our magnetic step up adapter rings are suitable for coupling lenses with a smaller diameter to magnetic round filters with a larger diameter. The adapter rings are anodized black to reduce light reflections and they are available in different sizes. Please note that these adapter rings are only suitable for using our magnetic round filters. The advantage of the magnetic step up adapter rings is that you can mount the respective magnetic round filter or magnetic polarizing filter directly on them.  No additional magnetic adapter ring is required. Alternatively, you can screw a screw-in UV protection filter onto the lens beforehand and then mount the magnetic adapter ring on top. Notes: Please note that the magnetic adapter rings only have a thread on the lens side. You cannot therefore mount two of these rings on top of each other or connect them together. If you need to "level up" from a smaller lens size with several step up adapter rings, then only the last adapter ring should be magnetic.  The size always indicates FROM TO: Example 1:  A magnetic step up adapter ring 77-82 can bring the lens diameter from 77 to 82mm. Example 2:  A magnetic step up adapter ring 49-82 can bring the lens diameter from 49 to 82mm. Any intermediate sizes require their own matching magnetic step up adapter ring. This adapter ring set is a further development of the classic KW Revolution Inlaid adapter rings. Using this magnetic inlaid step up adapter ring set, an inlaid adapter ring can be permanently installed in the lens. The double-sided magnetic inlaid step up adapter ring is then magnetically placed on the inlaid ring and the magnetic KW Revolution filter is magnetically mounted on it.Each of these sets is used to use a lens with a smaller diameter than the one used Filter.e.g. 67 to 82mmIf several lenses with a smaller diameter than the filter(s) are to be used, please order a suitable inlaid step up adapter ring set for each lens. This means, for example, that the original lens cap can continue to be used because the inlaid adapter ring can remain screwed into the lens "invisibly". The KW Revolution Inlaid Ring is screwed hand-tight onto the lens in order to be able to use the KW Revolution filters. The ring can remain permanently installed in the lens. The original lens cap from the lens manufacturer can still be used.
